Pizza Maths VR Demo

At Brain Man VR our educational games are constantly evolving thanks to regular user feedback sessions.

The footage below is from Pizza Math VR v0.5 that was testing in 3 schools from Jan-Mar 2025 and up in Lancashire in April 2025. We are scheduled for alpha release in September 2025 and the game will feature 3 different mini-games each of which enable learners to gain skills and confidence in core areas of the GCSE / Baccalaureate / SAT maths syllabus, namely proportions, reading graphs and circle theorem. Each have been designed as a foundation upon which higher difficulty maths can be added as the learner progresses through the experience.

We follow Agile development processes, which means planning each sprint of development work on the basis of user feedback from on the previous iteration.

This is not just great for ensuring that all important Product-Market Fit - ensuring we are building something that serves the needs of our users - but it is also extremely empowering for our user testers. They are always keen to help with testing of future versions of the game as they know how important their feedback is to our success.

We continually incorporate user feedback into each development sprint to ensure the product is fun to play and boosts relevant skills for maths learners of any age working towards their GCSE, Baccalaureate or SAT exams.

Before we started user testing version 0.5 in early 2025 we swapped out the odd looking customers (see footage below) for more amusing / less zombie-like Non Player Characters on the basis of feedback on the 0.1 version.

We also threw in some space ships for good measure as the testers liked the idea if it feeling like a Pizza Diner at the End of the Universe.

The footage below shows what it looked like in Sept 2024 after gaining feedback from 26 learners at Latymer Upper School, where they provided critical appraisal of version 0.1 in July 2024. The improvements across the board are plain to see!
